Baking Saturday

Ok, I baked some cookies today. However, the cookies did not turn out as nice as I expected. This time round, I change to use another recipe. I did not use back the old recipe. Hubby, MIL and FIL tried. First question they ask me is, why the biscuit is like so loosen? No crispiness as well. Hence, baking for today failed.

What a start of 2010 I have...

Well, my 2010 doesn't seems to be starting good. Is this a good sign? Doesn't seem so. Time to be superstitions and take look at my luck for this year.

First, I got a parking offence from WILSON PARKING! What the???!!! have you ever encounter a multi story carpark that has only season parking lots and not even a single public lot? The rule has just implement. The sign is SO SUPER BIG that 3 pairs of eyes can't even spot only after looking up?

Second, losing in mahjong game. This is the most I have lost so far. 200 over dollars!

Third, I step on the wrong pedal and instead of reversing, I went accelerating! Hit the kerb and there goes. More scratches for Hubby's car. Hubby decided to just stay with those scratches and bumps on the car for the next 5 years.

Shall go to the temple as soon as possible to pray for smooth and peaceful. I do not need a very prosperous year. I just need a smooth and peaceful one.

Farewell 2009 and Welcome 2010!

This is how fast time has flies. It's already the last day of 2009 and tomorrow will be the first day of 2010!

What a busy November and especially Decemeber I have for 2009! Hence, not being able to find enough time to blog as well. Addiction to facebook cause me to neglect my blog too. November is busy preparing myself for my driving test. And yes! I passed! December is really super busy as office is busy moving as well.

Had a Bangkok trip 1 week just before Christmas, which is also 1 week after office move. Came back with some goodies and clothings. Can't wait to wear all my new clothings! Had a nice and tiring trip. And it's also my first trip with Sarah! :D

Can you imagine how long have I not been scrapping? I seriously need to scrap. I own E Dec's sketch and I have yet to start on it! So how could I possibly be starting on Jan's one? That's really bad. I really need to start on them tonight.

Overall, 2009 is a pretty challenging year for me! With a newborn boy and a driving license is my biggest chen jiu gan for year 2009. Wondering what will my resolution be for 2010?

Will post more once I am done with my scrap works!

Nice Afternoon

Here I am, sitting at Macdonalds with Y. She is doing up her blog and I am playing facebook. Just finished our class at Laines and head down here straight for lunch. Had a busy morning at Laines as the box is not a easy job. It's a dirty and messy class. Will post photos of my box soon, after I complete them. Hopefully I will be able to complete them tonight. :D

Macdonalds here is busy as usual. At least, there are greenary views around rather than just seeing buildings, offices and housing.

Events @ MWL

Went for Shane Hershey's classes @ MWL on the 29 Oct. They invited him down and offered SDU graduates for free! Had a great time! To take a look at what I have done, please click below for the albums! Oh, by the way, I only complete 2 classes. The earlier one, which is the card making, I have yet to start on it as I was late for the class.


Another event I went for @ MWL if their Cropathon held on 31 Oct. It was really fun and enjoying. Jokes are flying around. Guessing of paper lines are flying around too! As what S. has surveyed, popular lines for that day are Sassafras Lass and October Afternoon. This time round is really a different crop from the past. Instead of we crack our brains for what to do. They actually teach you how to do albums. Of course, you have to prepare your supplies. There are 5 projects and I only managed to complete a few projects. Here's a photo of S.'s Flip Flap Accordion Album. The others which I have completed, I have yet to take photos for them.
